With its striking contrast of colours between dazzling white beaches, dark red cliffs and an entrancingly turquoise ocean, Francois Peron National Park is without doubt one of Australia‘s most iconic parks. Join us on a drive along the adventurous sandy track and experience the highlights of Francois Peron National Park with a local guide. 

Half Day tour runs from 08:00am - 12:30pm.

8.00 am: Pick up from your accommodation in Denham / Monkey Mia.

8.00 am – 9.30 am: Follow the sandy track to Skipjack Point and enjoy breathtaking views over the coast line, Point Peron and down into the ocean. From here you can often see a great variety of marine life such as rays, dugongs, dolphins and sharks. 

10 am – 10.50 am: Explore Point Peron which is characterised by red cliffs and a white sandy beach. Enjoy a pleasant morning tea before it is time to leave this special place.

10.50 am – 12.30 pm: Head back to Denham and (time permitting) enjoy a short photo stop at one of the beautiful bays along the way.

Treat yourself to a memorable trip along the adventurous sandy track and experience the highlights of Francois Peron National Park with a local guide, either Janine or Jens.

8.00 am: Pick up from your accommodation in Denham / Monkey Mia.

8.00 am – 9.30 am: Follow the sandy track to Point Peron with many interesting stops on the way.

9.30 am – 11.45 pm: Visit the stunningly beautiful Point Peron and explore the amazing coast line around the cape in great detail. Marvel at some magnificent red cliffs, enjoy a walk along the Wanamalu Walk Trail and discover a hidden bay of wild beauty. In between regain your energy during morning tea in a shady shelter. 

12 pm – 12.45 pm: Drive to Skipjack Point and enjoy a short walk along a boardwalk to magnificent vantage points. From two viewing platforms take in breathtaking views over the coast line, Point Peron and down into the ocean. From here you can often see a great variety of marine life such as rays, dugongs, dolphins and sharks. Continue to beautiful Bottle Bay for lunch.

1 pm – 4 pm: Enjoy lunch with ocean views at Bottle Bay and then go for a walk and drive to explore a few other colourful bays.

4.00 pm – 5.00 pm: Follow the scenic track back to Denham.

Tours include a workshop-like introduction, information material and, of course, lot‘s of photo opportunities. 

Enjoy the full day Francois Peron National Park Explorer Tour and then stay in the Park overnight for magnificent sunsets, dinner under billions of stars, interesting talks and the chance to see some elusive creatures of the night.

Camping equipment is provided though if you have your own sleeping bag, you are encouraged to take it.

Encompassing only 9,168 hectares, Mount Augustus National Park may be small in size, but it features one of the region’s biggest attractions, Mount Augustus - known to the Wajarri as Burringurrah. At a height of 1,105 metres above sea level, this charismatic mountain joins the league of WA’s highest peaks. Extending about 14 kilometres in length, with an average width of five kilometres and towering up to 715 metres above the surrounding plain, Mount Augustus looks like a massive island rising out of a green ocean of acacia scrub land.
