Join us - Experience, Explore, Dive In!
Shark Bay Dive & Marine Safaris is based at Ocean Park Aquarium approximately 8km south of Denham and 30km from Monkey Mia on Shark Bay Road. Located on Western Australia’s rugged and spectacular west coast, Shark Bay Dive & Marine Safaris is the most western PADI Dive Centre in Australia.
Dive Shark Bay
To scuba dive in Shark Bay means experiencing the “Wild West”. Steep Point is world-renowned as a fishing location but the surrounding World Heritage listed marine park is one of the undiscovered jewels of the diving world.
Our full day tours visit areas populated by species including Queensland grouper, turtles, crayfish, cuttlefish, stingrays, mackerel, trevally and of course Sharks! And when they say Sharks they mean Grey nurse, Tawny nurse, Sandbar whalers, Dusky whalers, Wobbegongs, Tiger Sharks and even Whalesharks. All of these species can be seen while diving here! Humpback whales, dolphins and dugongs are also residents of this area depending on the time of year. Ancient tectonic activity has created huge underwater caverns encrusted in stunning soft corals. Worth travelling to the edge of Australia for!
